Do you love me? Is the suggestive title to k-pop artist 2NE1's new single. My answer to that question would have to be yes!
I've been a fan of theirs since the first time I heard them; and like the rest of the fans I waited patiently for the comeback. Do you love me is the follow up to Falling in Love which was the reggae inspired comeback debut song. Although I loved Falling in Love mostly because it featured my favorite maknae Gong Minzy I feel it was too mellow for a comeback but it tied in with the season of summer. Do you love me reminds me of the 4 girls I fell in love with, watching the home video inspired music video it brought me back to the days of 2NE1TV. It reminded me that these 4 fierce girls aren't all glitz and glamour.
Ok so I know I've been m.i.a but I am without a reliable internet source but thank the music gods for my cellphone.
So the day is finally here, 2ne1 released their 2nd single titled 'So you love me' the practice video is posted in the blog post below. I love it , but I'm a fan of them so give it a listen and let us know what you think.
Well it's be a long journey for those of us in anticipation of this song. A few of us were heart broken when we found out the comeback was pushed back from April to June, then from June to July. But finally the day came, sadly the comeback stage was cancelled due to Inkigayo's cancellation of the broadcast on July 7, 2013. But YG pulled through and released the video as promised. All I have to say is WOW! The styles are very different in this video, everything is different.
Lets start off with CL she's great as usual, sadly to me personally she didn't stick out too much because unlike the other members she really didin't do much to her own personal style, no colored hair (to me being every shade of blonde doesn't count), no drastic hair style. but performance wise she was great.
Dara, Dara, Dara! That blonde hair turned me off a bit in the beginning but in the end it totally won me over :) It took some getting used to but once it was styled right she looked gorgeous. I'm just glad that for once we really got a chance to see her legs, she hides behind those baggy clothes it was nice to see her really dressed up and all girly.
Minzy and those abs! Who knew that girl was packing the whole time. Minzy's body is incredible and you can tell she works her butt off with constant twitter and instagram pics of her getting her work out on. I'm glad that for once nothing drastic was done to Minzy's hair, the pink wig was enough for me in this video plus the contacts and her acting was great too. Minzy is definitely coming into her own person and she's going down the right path.
Last but not least BOMMIE!!! All I have to say is yes Finally!! As usual this girl has legs for days and always is proud to show them off, she's always in shorts or dresses. But the thing that made me so happy was that for once we can really see her face without 20 layers of eyeliner and make up. The contacts she wears make her eyes looks beautiful. But again i'm just glad that she cut back on the eye make and looked fresh faced for this video.
Overall this video was great, it was simple, clean and fun. No heavy beats, not heavy makeup, no studs and spikes all over the clothes. It's the perfect song for the perfect summer, whether you're falling in love with your partner or falling in love with discovering who you are as a person. Most people will bash and hate all over this song but I personally love it. I'm looking forward to what else the following months have to offer.
So with that being said: KEEP CALM AND FALL IN LOVE !

So we finally got a confirmed release day, July 8, 2013. I am extremely excited. I haven't been a fan that long but I have been anticipating this comeback for a while. According to YG, the girls will release a single and music video for the track titled 'Falling in Love'. It is a song done in a reggae style which if you've listened to 2NE1s song 'I don't care' they did release it with a reggae-ish style as a remix ( I love this version personally). Hopefully they come back strong and fighting, these 4 girls are awesome and can sing their faces off, I hope one day I do get to see them live. But for now we sit and wait for the big day. Can't wait! 2NE1 *FIGHTING*
Here they are! The 4 ladies that fueled my K-POP addiction. 2NE1! These girls single handedly lit my fire and opened my eyes and ears to a whole new world of music. Normally I wouldn't have given this genre a chance but listening to them only made me curiouser and curiouser to what this genre had to offer. Thanks to them and my new k-pop friend T :) I have given this music a chance with an open heart. Now I impatiently await their comeback, which has me very curious :) Can't wait to see what the girls bring to the table. 2NE1 *FIGHTING*
Up next is everybody's favorite baby faced idol Sandara Park. In my opinion she is the heart and soul of 2NE1. She always has a smile on her face no matter what's going on, she openly supported CL throughout her solo debut and supports her other membersas well. She may not be a vocal goddess but she is a goddess none the less. Dara *fighting* :)
My all-time fave maknae is the one and only Gong Minji :) ever since I laid eyes on a 2NE1 video I instantly fell in love with Minzy :) she is stylish, can dance her booty off and have you heard her sing an R&B song, this girls got chops :) Here is a pic of my fave maknae :)
If you don't already know I love 2NE1, I love all of the members. Like the rest of you I am awaiting the comeback of the summer (in my eyes ). So I decided every few days I will post a pic of one of its members :) today it is the BOMBshell herself PARK BOM! Enoy!
I watched this earlier today and I was in total awe of her perfomance. For some reason I really loved this, you can feel the energy that everybody is giving off and it looks like everybody had a good time as well. Can't wait to see her 2nd perfomance on SBSInkigayo this sunday. Rock the stage CL!
Fashion! Secretly we all love it no matter what we say or what our size, we all admire it whether up close or from afar. Today I will be sharing with you 3 of my fave k-pop girl groups whose fashion I love. All with different styles.
First up SISTAR
Now when it comes to groups and sex appeal SISTAR is over flowing with it. These four girls ooze sexuality. If you've ever seen a video from these lovely ladies then you know what i'm talking about. When I first saw a video from them I was a bit surprised at the sexuality (compared to some of the other groups). One thing all these lovely ladies have in common is the stunning set of legs they dance on, wow! So here is the first ever video I saw by Sistar (video below).
Up next is one of my fave groups missA. The one thing I love about this group is that the individual personalities shine brightly through the fashion. Whether you're a girly girl or a rebel you'll find someone in this group to relate to. My bias in this group is Suzy Bae, I love her and her wholesome image, the rest of the girls are just as stunning and are all great dancers. If you're looking for a set a girls that always keep you dancing this is the group for you. Below is one of my fave video's fashion wise. Breathe-missA
And last but not least, my all time favorite group when it comes to everything k-pop and fashion 2NE1! In my opinion 2ne1 screams K-POP loud and clear from their style and usually being ahead of the fashion. Each girl definitely has a style all of her own. Currently they are being styled by the one and only Jeremy Scott, which happens to be a huge fashion designer and he currently is working along ADIDAS. I fell in love with these girls because A they can sing their faces off and B because I wanted to live in their closets for just one day, lol shoot i'll be glad with an hour in each. Whether you're a girlie girl like Park Bom or a natural beauty like Sandara Park you'll definitely fall in love with these girls, so here is my fave fashion video by 2ne1 featuring a few pieces from Jeremy Scott's collection. 2ne1-Go Away (Japanese Version)
